Job Title: SHB49 Marketing Inern, Logistics
Responsibilities & Duties:- Conducts marketing surveys on the companie's existing and newly-introduced benefits;
- Develop new market contacts and networks, and the ongoing understanding of the supply chain and logistics environment in specific industry sectors;
- Develop a robust database of prospects in the region, primarily foreign-invested manufacturers, retailers and trading companies in these countries;
- Provide support in developing and launching new initiatives to help grow marketing exposure;
- Develop and manage barters agreements with magazines, websites and trade shows in these markets;
- Recommend audience segmentation, production and execution of direct marketing campaigns;
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and monitor competitors;
- Conduct regular meetings, ensuring all events/activities are well-planned, efficient, results-oriented and timely.
- Coordinates events including workgroups, seminars, site tours, trainings, trade shows, conferences and summits;
- Supervise events logistics (AV, F & B, security, room sets, faculty communications, etc)
- Compile and translate local news in supply chain and logistics for website and other updates
- Undertake market research in a variety of topics relevant to supply chain, logistics and sourcing in these regions;
Working Conditions and Employee Equipment: Office based, lunch allowance, desk plus computer
Internship Dates: start in the middle of March 2010
Duration (Number of Weeks): max 12 weeks
Pocket Money: 2000RMB/ month
Required Qualifications:
- Current college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in supply chain, procurement or logistics
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously & meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in an intense team atmosphere
Required IT Skills: Strong computer experience to include proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Required Languages:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- English a must, Chinese language skills desired, but not required. NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER preferred.
